Oh how lovely it is to live in New Mexico! Many new things that I haven't seen before. This is a Vinegaroon that I found outside my front door. It is not poisonous, but when I first saw it I thought it was a scorpion. Upon further inspection, I noticed it only had an antenna and not a stinger. I've heard some people keep these for pets. The Vinegaroons eat insects like crickets.
